Introduction to Dublin
Dublin, Ireland was once considered one of the most important cities next to London and has the amazing architecture to prove its importance. The history of Dublin is found all over the streets from the pillars of the General Post Office to the alleys of the Temple Bar.
The people that are native to Dublin are still coming to terms with the reality of the changes ever since the economic and cultural renaissance of the early 1990s. The prices of homes have steadily increased to heights that are beyond the financial means of some residents.
The majority of locals have been turned into tourists filling the streets with maps in hand. Even through all of this the Dubliners have managed to retain their civilization and humor in a city that has seen many rough times. Considering the history and street life it is obvious that the biggest asset in Dublin is the people who reside there.
It is safe to say that no vacation to Dublin would be complete without spending some of your nights in the city’s 1,000 plus pubs. Many will agree that a Dublin Pub is a great place to experience the famous Irish good nature that increases as the night turns into morning.
